MOSCOW (Sputnik) – US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Wednesday that the United States was not seeking to establish permanent military bases in Papua New Guinea (PNG) against the background of expanding defense cooperation between Washington and Port Moresby and rising tensions with China.
