U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a previously deported sex offender near Nogales Monday morning. Tucson Sector agents patrolling near the border apprehended 35-year-old Santiago Mariano-Aguirre at 8 a.m. Records checks revealed Mariano-Aguirre, a Mexican national illegally present in the country, was convicted of sex with a minor on September 30, 2005, by Humboldt County, California.
