NY’s new get out of jail without bail law is releasing people accused of dangerous crime and sexual crimes with minors, hoping they won’t commit more crimes and rewarding them if they come back for trial. It’s the flip side of mandatory minimum jail sentences. Both of them practice “justice” by algorithm.
