Japanese Robot ‘Affetto’ Can ‘Feel Pain’

A group of researchers at Osaka University now have a robot that can “feel pain.” The robot, called Affetto, is little more than a human head. It was created in 2011 to demonstrate how androids could be created to display a range of emotions.
